[District 4 news] Blizzard service adjustments [82]

This is the latest in a series of occasional newsletters on topics that may be of interest to Fitchburg District 4 residents.

 

You probably already know that the University of Wisconsin-Madison and most school districts have canceled classes and other events for tomorrow, but did you know that on Wednesday, Feb 2:

 

   o  Fitchburg City Hall will be *closed* to the public.  Employees have

      received e-mail on their options depending on their roles and

      whether they can get to work safely.

 

   o  Refuse and recycling will *not* be collected.  Pickups for

      households with regular pickups on Wed-Fri will be done Thu-Sat,

      respectively.  Please keep your carts away from the street and

      let the snowplows do their jobs.

 

Please don't travel before the snow is cleared late tomorrow.  If you absolutely must travel, take a winter emergency kit:
