Schools
The purpose of the committee is to gather information regarding the current school district lines and determine if there is any possibility to affect change. We are a family oriented neighborhood and it makes sense that our children be assigned to the most conveniently located schools.
We envision a school committee would do the research and present our findings to the Board. Suggested goals for the committee:
1) Determine why our district has been assigned as it has
2) Determine if and what can be done to affect change
3) Determine who we need to talk to and what meetings we may need to attend.
This is an important issue in our neighborhood. I hope to form the committee as soon as possible and am looking for committee members. Let us know if you're interested. We welcome your input.
